Hello,
Planting a new trees in an area with existing unmaintained mature trees with Anthracnose. Has anyone used PreStop WP?
Located on the wet side of WA state. Decent sandy loam soil, but high water table in the winter. Cider varieties, most on M-111 roots.
Planning on spray of neem, fish and compost/botanic teas for colonization but concerned anthracnose pressure may be significant.
Thanks in advance

Always curious which biology has been called to the fore to outcompete disease. PreStop turns out to be spores and mycelia of Gliocladium catenulatum strain J1446, a naturally occurring soil fungus. AgBio is making this available in the states but here’s a Swiss flyer about it. Those of you in the Pacific Northwest need to nail down the timing for anthracnose and share results here. I would certainly think about culturing this fungus from a first-time purchase and making it your own.
